Greenhouse gases, water resources management and mitigation actions

    Based on the importance of climate change and environmental protection, Vanadonic pays close attention to the impact of greenhouse gas emissions and water resources emissions on the earth's climate and environment, through the implementation of greenhouse gas emission management and reduction, as a practical action to save energy, reduce carbon and protect the earth.

    Promote energy conservation and carbon reduction programs to reduce the company's greenhouse gas emissions.

    The production process of major products has been introduced with low carbon design and low water emissions, and is committed to using the best available technology to reduce life-cycle carbon emissions.


  • Greenhouse gas management and mitigation actions

    We will continue to improve greenhouse gas emission management and reduction actions, actively respond to the carbon reduction expectations of the competent authorities and customers, and move towards the systematic management of greenhouse gas information in the future as a means of long-term operational carbon emission reduction management.

  • Water resource emission reduction

    At present, Vanadde is reformed for the process with large water consumption, and adopts the filtration circulation system, which can reduce the water resource discharge by 100 degrees on average

  • Directions for carbon management strategies

    1. Organizational carbon management: Conduct annual inventory and verification of greenhouse gases according to ISO14064-1 standard, including Category 1 direct emissions, Category 2 indirect energy emissions and Category 3 other indirect emissions, gradually increase inventory categories according to international standards, improve the transparency of carbon information disclosure, as the basis for promoting energy conservation and carbon reduction related work.

    2. Product carbon management: conducted carbon inventory of major products according to ISO14067 standard, mastered unit energy consumption and carbon emissions of products, gradually established internal product carbon footprint database, and used it as one of the indicators for future new product development evaluation.


Conflict-free metal purchasing policy

To prevent conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo and its adjacent areas minerals are used in our raw materials.
This system applies to all raw materials purchased by our company. 3. Content 3.1 Definition of conflict metals means metals such as gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), cobalt (Co), and tin (Sn), which are derived from mining areas in conflict areas controlled by non-governmental military groups or non-military factions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Profits from illegal mining by local military groups are stolen from citizens and have led to human rights violations and environmental degradation in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The raw materials used in our products do not contain gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), cobalt (Co), tin (Sn) and other metals. The company strictly abides by the Code of Conduct of the electronics industry and only purchases materials from environmentally and socially responsible raw material suppliers, and requires the raw material suppliers to sign the Supplier Sustainable Development Statement. Implement the Supplier Conflict-Free Metals Procurement Requirements for suppliers to ensure that our suppliers purchase from smelters that have been certified as conflict-free metals of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and are listed in the EICC's Conflict-Gesi Conflict-Free Smelters (CFS) list.
